Schlitterbahn - The country’s number one waterpark, with 65 acres of family fun along the banks of the Comal River.
Comal River - The Comal River is known as one of the shortest rivers in the world. It stays a constant temperature of 72 degrees year round. Grab an inner tube and ride, as it winds 3 miles through the city before meeting the Guadalupe River.
Guadalupe River - A Real Texas treasure for tubing or just taking a cool dip. A popular destination for swimming, rafting, paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, fly fishing and of course, tubing.
Horseshoe Loop - The most famous section of the Guadalupe River, and the most popular place to float.
Texas Ski Ranch - A 70-acre water action sports venue offering wakeboarding, knee boarding and waterskiing.
Outside of the water they offer rock climbing, Sphere Rides, helicopter rides and a sandy beach.
Canyon Lake - A popular lake north of New Braunfels for boating and fishing, with 80 miles of scenic shoreline.

San Marcos Outlet Malls - Shopping, shopping and more shopping! Only about 15 miles outside of New Braunfels are two large outlet malls: Premium Outlet Mall and Tanger Outlet Mall. The best stores at discount prices year round.
The Alamo and the Riverwalk in San Antonio - Less than an hour from New Braunfels take a tour of the historic Alamo followed by a river tour, shopping and dining on the San Antonio Riverwalk.
Six Flags Fiesta Texas - About 45 minutes from New Braunfels is Fiesta Texas, San Antonio’s 200 acre theme park featuring wild roller coasters, rides, live entertainment, waterparks and fun for all ages.
