What Is Wurstfest?
Wurstfest is New Braunfels’ festival celebrating German culture with a side of Texas fun. It’s ten days long, packed with exciting events, German and Texas craft beer. If you plan on going, be prepared to eat and drink a lot.
What Kind of Entertainment Is There?
Guests can expect to hear accordion players, polka, oompah music, and yodeling. Outside of the music, you can cheer on participants in the Masskrugstemmen. It is a traditional Bavarian endurance and strength contest. Contestants hold a stein filled with beer, approximately five lbs, straight out. Whoever holds their beer the longest wins. There will also be Texas crafts, games, carnival rides, and more.
Where Is It Located?
Wurstfest Grounds in Landa Park, New Braunfels. Other events will take place in New Braunfels and Comal County. Be on the lookout for more events.

The festival hours will vary depending on the day. Here’s a rundown.
- Monday through Thursday, 5 to 10 p.m.
- Fridays, 5 to 11 p.m.
