Excellent vacation with teens

This home provided an incredible amount of both indoor space(5000sqft?+) and multiple outdoor decks to accommodate our family and friends. The teenagers highly enjoyed the downstairs apartment with 7beds, a tv/4loungers, a separate mini kitchen/table, bathroom, a covered porch and the very large tanning deck & oversized hot tub. It was a convenient drive to both Canyon Lake marina (14 mins) & Gruene Hall (20 mins). The home was very clean and well stocked to cook for large groups. We hope to return soon!

Wedding Weekend in Canyon Lake

Overall a good experience. Clean lot's of space. A couple of minor issue - overhead lights in the living room would not come on (management offered to have maintenance come right out) and heater didn't seem to be able to keep up in the main living area and master bedroom (winter weather over MLK weekend) but not overly uncomfortable. Property management very helpful and friendly.

Great family getaway house

Was perfect for a large family gathering. Kids slept down below & adults on upper floors. Views were magical and the stairs down to the beautiful river were a great workout (not for the faint of heart).
The only downside was that this was also the "Noah's Ark" house - the management company specified multiple times that there would only be two supplied of everything (2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 paper towel rolls, 2 dishwasher tablets, etc.). For the amount we paid to rent, how about three?! Otherwise perfect.

Very nice house with a spectacular view.

One of the most impressive vacation houses and location that we have ever stayed in. Perfect for large families. has plenty of room and space for for everyone and not feel crowded. Great location on the river. Good float to the first bridge. The view was amazing and having coffee in the morning and being able to see that view i will not soon forget. Do not hesitate to rent this house you will not be disappointed. Having said all that I have to point out some of the small things I did not like. Having been a VRBO owner in the past some of these things although small are still important. Adding a few small things to this house could make it perfect. First by providing better toilet paper. I know its on a septic by I also have a septic at my house and they make stronger and softer paper that work just fine in a septic. The price difference between the ****** paper and good paper is minimal and never effected my profit. Your guest will appreciate it. Having a special needs child I would have loved to see a child safety gate from the house porch steps down to the pool. We watch or son like a hawk but it would have been nice just knowing that extra safety was there. That's really it and the rental agency was easy to deal with always answered our calls and questions. I will be renting this house next year if available.

Weekend getaway

We had a group of 17 mix of adults and teenagers. The separate bunk house worked great with our group. When they say the steps to the river are not for the faint of heart take that seriously! Views were amazing and we had a great time. Would definitely stay here again.

Get away

Breath taking. Super relaxing. Short distance to lake. If older adults go it is hard to walk down and up the stairs for the river access. Only thing was short on trash bags, toilet paper. Other than that just gorgeous place to stay.

Wonderful Stay on the River

This house was exquisite. As soon as we walked in we fell in love with the view alone and then the inside was also amazing. Inside and outside there were huge tables that fit us perfectly for dining. Each room is attached to its very own patio entrance which we loved! The location is amazing and it was in a gated community so lots of privacy and security. The owners were very responsive and helped with any questions we had. Overall it was the best stay we’ve had near the river and we would 100% come back!
