This place was great, right on the river and the back is covered with old pecan trees. Inside the house was clean, we spent most nights on the deck and watched the River Rd crowd come and go.

River stay

If you’re looking for a place with river access this is it. Just walk outside your backyard straight to the river. Outside deck is nice with plenty of space. Pictures of the house is exactly how it is. Plenty of room to spread out. Rooms do get pretty bright once the sun comes out. Overall nice stay.

Perfect Girls Vacation!

The house was just perfect! We have been having our annual getaway for 6 years, and this was the best house we have stayed at! Plenty of room for 13 women and their belongings! Lots of kitchen items for cooking! Great river access that allowed us to just sit in chairs in the water the whole time! Definitely will be booking this house again next year!

Fun riverfront home

Nice home in a great location with easy access to the river. A bit of wear and tear and some maintenance issues prevent me from giving it a 5-star review. However, it is still a suitable property if you know what to expect. Accepting dogs is a huge plus! A/C needed to be more balanced in the home as keeping the kitchen and living room cool was impossible sometimes. The dishwasher did not work, and there is a significant trip and injury hazard where the living room meets the added-on rec space as the flooring transition strip was completely unsecured.

Amazing rental!

The house is located in the most amazing location! Our group had a great time hanging out on the river right out in our own backyard! Also, it was great to be able to go on a river float and get out right in the backyard so you didn’t have to hassle with shuttles or anything! House was clean and VERY well supplied. I have gotten used to taking all my own cooking utensils and pots/pans because I have learned it can be very hit or miss with what the rental has. Well this place had it all! Our group enjoyed our time here very much and is already looking forward to coming back next year!

Park & Stay

The location is AMAZING! If you are looking for a place to arrive to & keep your vehicle parked the whole time, THIS is the one!
Access to the river is right down the hill in the back yard as shown & described. It’s perfect to put your chairs in with good rocks for plenty of chairs to sit on. We had at least 8 of us in chairs, spread out down there. The hill back up is a doozy, unless you’re in shape LOL.
The tube rental place is a short 1 min walk. Rio provides the black, old school tubes. With or without bottoms. They will cut out bottoms if you don’t want one so be sure to just ask.
Driveway seems super sketchy right when you get there, but we had no issues & didn’t feel that River Road traffic was an issue at all. However, we were there for a good time & likely didn’t pay attention.

Would def recommend & stay again.

Great Place to Gather with old Friends!

We had a reunion of friends coming in from as far as California. We took some camping chairs out to the water and put our Yeti on a pile of rocks conveniently situated near where we sat in the water. We did some fishing but just caught one tiny smallmouth. Cooked food and had a great weekend. The house seemed a bit tuckered after all the summer rentals but we would definitely rent again.

Our river stay....

Extremely happy with the location on the river and access to grocery and tubing rental locations. The home is older but was clean - kudos to having the extra fridge and freezer in the garage for storage. Love the large yard - quite a bit of shade. Water level was good here even though the river overall is way down. As to general condition - need to update things in the kitchen in order to cook better (pots, pans, untensils) and I would recommend the master bed mattress be replaced (sags quite a bit and we are not heavy). Otherwise, other bedrooms seemed fine, bathrooms well stocked with towels - great for a larger group like ours. I (we) would stay again!

Great River House!

We had a wonderful long weekend here. River access and the patio were perfect. Afternoon shade was wonderful. There were 6 adults and 8 kids and the space was enough. Home was clean and in good shape. Staff was attentive via email. Only complaint was one of the full beds in the 3rd bedroom was sagging/broken. Not sure if it was the mattress or the frame, but no one can sleep comfortably in this bed.

Great Location

Overall a great place to stay. The house was RIGHT on the road so believe them when they say there is no extra parking and be watchful of your little kids. One wrong step and they are in the road. The house was very clean, however the kitchen cabinets were missing some knobs and the house was older than most. The furniture was in great condition. A cold front came three while we were there and heater seemed to only heat the master bedroom while the rest of the house was freezing. There was direct river access and the area to sit down by the river was nice. Again, it was super clean and that’s the main thing I’m looking for in a rental.

Not the best but not the worst.

The house has a great water location. The inside is fairly nice and well kept. The outside could use some work. The stairs outside need to be replaced or repaired. They have several nails sticking out. The neighbors are extremely close and there is no backyard fence. Luckily they are friendly. The front of the property is about 5 ft from the main road so use caution with pets and children. I do like that they give you plenty of towels and you have an extra freezer and fridge in the garage. The upstairs carpet is pretty stained but it is pet friendly so you have to take the good with the bad. Overall it’s a decent place to stay.

Perfect Getaway for Social Distancing Easter

This property has EVERYTHING you need. Owners were AMAZING.

Cutest house ever with every room having it’s own little theme. The kitchen has river view while you wash dishes. It has Everything you need from pans, pots, glasses, dishes, utensils.

My favorite room was the sun room, the view of the river is AMAZING. I sat for hours in there being memorized by the view.

The location is next to a bridge, where you see all kinds of cars and motorcycles drive by while you are hanging by the river which is STEPS away from the house. So while I was lounging on my float the rivers edge, we got to see people cruising, people on tubes and kayaks floating by. Social distancing at its best.

Definitely coming back!
